Hey everyone 😀 Hope you’re feeling glowy and extra saucy this festive season.
🍲 This my absolute favourite time of the year & I’m over the moon excited. With Christmas just right around the corner, I’m watching myself and what I put into my body more than ever because it’s so easy to munch on comfort food and festive goodies and treats especially since the whole family is here.

🍚Luckily though, I’ve recently become such a health conscious eater, cutting down on white bread, drinking more water, I barely eat junk food now, I’ve cut down on rice etc 🍱 speaking of rice, I’ve kinda sorta replaced it with couscous and in my books it’s GLORIOUS. Better than rice, macaroni and quinoa it’s healthier and lighter. It takes a little longer to prepare and needs more tender loving not just sprinkling some salt and pouring water. It’s all so worth it though.
(Woolworths has the best ready-prepared, ready-to-go meals, especially for anyone eating clean 👌 Perfection.)
🍲 It has so many perks too. For example, the potassium in couscous regulates blood pressure and your heartbeat. It helps control fluid balance and assists with muscle contractions.
